Post Falls, ID Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring Installation

For this new build project in Post Falls, ID LVP floors were a great choice.

Vinyl plank waterproof flooring worked perfect for the kitchen in the multi-purpose room.

Because it would also be subject to high foot traffic in the hall and open area, the built-in durability of luxury vinyl  will stand up to the wear and tear of the use while being comfortable and help with noise reduction.

After ensuring absolute flatness in the subfloor (necessary even with new builds to prevent failure and guarantee longevity), the planks were securely locked with a tapping block for a seamless look that made the space flow.

Why Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVF)?

Waterproof Flooring:

  • LVF is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and laundry rooms. Because of its 100% synthetic material, it is highly water resistant. Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and luxury vinyl sheets (LVS) have additional waterproof characteristics

Realistic textures and visuals:

  • Embossed technology allows for an array of stylish visuals and textures. LVP looks and feels like natural wood while LVT has amazingly similar to real tile and stone. Both come in an array of colors, styles, patterns, and designs.

Durability:

  • Both LVP floors and LVT floors are incredibly durable to indentations and dents. They are also stain, scratch, and spill resistant making them a perfect choice for a house with young children and pets.

Low maintenance floors:

  • Luxury vinyl floors are easy to clean due to its protective wear layer. A broom or vacuum and occasional gentle mopping is all that’s required.

Comfort:

  • Luxury vinyl flooring is generally warmer, softer, and quieter underfoot than tile and hardwood making it a surprisingly comfortable choice for winters in the region.

Simple installation:

  • The relative ease of installation compared to other products helps keep the cost down. However, it is critical to prepare the subfloor correctly to avoid damage and an annoying clicking sound.

Cost-effective flooring:

  • While the costs will vary based on the design, brand, and quality, luxury vinyl is a budget friendly alternative compared to traditional and engineered hardwood as well as tile.
